Launching a new brand identity and website for King's College Taunton
After many months of hard work on a very rewarding project, we have launched the new website for King's College Taunton, beginning the rollout of the new brand.
The development of the new brand and website was a careful and collaborative process. We went through an in-depth discovery phase, undertook robust market research and interviews with staff, pupils, parents and alumni and the result is a digital platform that is both visually engaging and intuitive to use, powerful to read and most importantly a true reflection of a school filled with warmth, ambition, and authenticity.
This launch marks an important step in the school's five-year strategic plan to 2030, a roadmap to ensure they stay ahead in an evolving world.
For nearly 150 years King’s has earned a respected place in British education, recognised nationally and internationally for strong values, high-quality teaching and the wonderful development of the character of the pupils.
With this refreshed brand identity we wanted to reaffirm the school's commitment to excellence - not just in academic performance - but in nurturing compassionate, courageous young people ready to make a positive difference.
From the moment anyone steps onto either of the two beautiful rural school sites you can’t help but feel the energy and warmth from the pupils, their smiles and enthusiasm for every opportunity offered to them is a true reflection of the experience of children attending King’s schools. The new website now conveys the school vision and captures readers attention with an honest review of every element of life here.
In an ever-changing world, education must offer more than knowledge. School should be a place where young people build the confidence, resilience, empathy, and adaptability they’ll carry with them for life. Our new website opens the gates to King’s digitally to the wider world, offering a genuine glimpse into the everyday moments and meaningful experiences, both inside and outside the classroom, that help shape who our pupils become.
From the outset it was recognised that the most authentic way to capture and promote life at King’s was through the eyes and words of the children themselves. So, we commissioned a series of beautiful, unscripted pupil interviews. These heartfelt videos feature throughout the site and give audiences a window into the world in which our pupils thrive here.
From the joyful honesty of our youngest pupils excitedly declaring it as the best school they’ve ever experienced, to the quiet wisdom of those preparing to take their next steps into the world, their voices bring the King’s brand to life.
This small but mighty school invokes a feeling of family and community when you walk through the doors, and we wanted people to learn about the magic of King's. This has been a wonderful project with some really talented people, and a really collaborative process
