Hall For Cornwall
Campaign management and delivery
On 2 June 2018, Hall For Cornwall, Cornwall's only large-scale professional theatre, closed for approximately 20 months for an ambitious and much-needed refurbishment of the theatre that will safeguard the future heritage of the building and transform it into a dynamic and high-quality venue giving the people of Cornwall access to the very best performing arts.
Hall for Cornwall had a requirement for some interim marketing support heading towards closure. Roscoe Communications supported Charlotte Somers, Head of Marketing and Communications, in delivering marketing campaigns for the spring and summer seasons at the theatre before their closure in June.
Work with Hall for Cornwall has involved design and delivery of their email marketing campaigns, liaison and relationship management with visiting companies, scheduling social media updates on a regular basis and working with designers, printers and mailing houses on print campaigns. Roscoe also worked with Bright Media for the Hall's PR requirements, and Blue Soup for digital, print and outdoor media bookings.
Moving forward, Hall for Cornwall unveil the history and heritage of the Grade II listed building and create a redesigned and larger three-tiered theatre within, alongside creating new cafés and bars and launching a digital creative business hub. Their new home will be a vital community asset and one which will continue to inspire, educate, entertain and challenge audiences, firmly placing them at the heart of Cornwall's cultural and economic offering and securing the long term future of the theatre.
Outside of the shows on their own stage, Hall For Cornwall also sells for a wide variety of shows and events across Cornwall and will continue to do so whilst they are closed.
